Free healthcare (in the US) for only those who want free healthcare

Allow those of us who want free healthcare to pay any associated taxes to create and support a free healthcare system, but only allow those of us who do so to use it. Everyone else can continue to receive the same old, out-of-pocket, shitty healthcare we've always had.

When those who oppose free healthcare for all begin to see others surviving because they are able to get their life-saving prescriptions and treatments for serious medical conditions that could bankrupt a family for free, perhaps then they'll see they want free healthcare too.

EDIT: To one Redditor's point, when I say "free," I essentially mean single-payer.

Charge them enough to subsidize regular flyers who are just bored of the traditional in-flight entertainment

An America medical drama but characters refuse the doctor's cool life-saving procedure due to cost. Those who get treated deal with doctor bills, insurance denials, endless claims and hours of pointless phone calls

It will be a horror series, of course. Screw the Good Doctor, Grey's Anatomy, House and others with their absolute inability to show anything real in American medicine - the costs and the billing and the claims and treatment delays and the navigation of the insane system designed to milk you to the last penny.
